Who is eligible

You can buy Luii products VAT-free if you are buying them:

EITHER

for personal use by you or another person and you/theyare 'chronically sick or disabled';

OR

on behalf of a care-providing charity that will make them available to the disabled or chronically sick for their personal use.

A person is ‘chronically sick or disabled’ if they have a:

• physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect on their ability to carry out everyday activities, or
• condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness, such as diabetes.

It does not include an elderly person who is not disabled or chronically sick or someone who’s only temporarily disabled by, say, a broken limb.

The following examples of urinary incontinence qualify:
frequency, functional incontinence, nocturia, overactive bladder, polyuria, stress incontinence, urge incontinence and urinary retention.

• EITHER Your full name - If you qualify and are buying for yourself
• OR The user’s name - if you’re buying for someone else who qualifies
• OR The qualifying charity’s name and registered number – if you’re buying for them.
